Child rescued from river in Tashkent region
In a heroic rescue operation in the Yukorichirchik district of the Tashkent region, a child who was stuck on an island in the middle of the Karasu River has been safely rescued, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service.
The alarming message about the child stranded in the middle of the Karasu River was received on June 10 at 13:50. It was discovered that the boy had ventured into the river for a swim and then sought refuge on a small island in the river to take a break. However, he found himself unable to return to the shore due to the rapid water flow.
Upon receiving the distress call, MES rescuers from the Tashkent region promptly rushed to the scene. With the use of specialized equipment, they successfully transferred the child back to safety on the shore.
