Airplane with Injured Children Arrives in Bishkek
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Suzak, resulting in 10 small passengers being injured and requiring urgent medical attention. The injured children were flown to Bishkek where they were admitted to the City Children’s Clinical Emergency Hospital in serious condition.
The Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, personally greeted the plane at the airport and ensured that the children received immediate medical care.
Earlier, President Sadyr Japarov had instructed authorities to provide the necessary medications and round-the-clock medical supervision for the young victims.
The tragic incident occurred during a young manaschi contest in Zherge-Tal village, Suzak district, Jalal-Abad region. The schoolchildren were reciting excerpts from the Manas epic when a Hyundai Porter truck crashed into them, resulting in 35 people being injured and 20 being hospitalized. The driver of the truck has been detained for further investigation.
