China Welcomes Talent from All Over the World, Says Premier Li Qiang
Chinese Premier Li Qiang stated that China is open to talent from all over the world during a meeting in Beijing on Sunday, as reported by CGTN. The meeting was held with the recipients of the Friendship Award of the Government of China in 2023 and foreign experts on the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year.
Li Qiang acknowledged the important role of foreign experts in promoting China’s economic and social development. He expressed the country’s readiness to provide space for the activities of foreign experts and create better conditions for them.
The Premier also expressed his desire to see active participation from foreign experts in the development of China, hoping that they would serve as a bridge between China and the rest of the world.
During the meeting, Li Qiang also listened to suggestions from experts on China’s development and government work. Experts from Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Russia, and other countries made presentations on cooperation in the field of science and technology, green development, and training.
The welcoming stance towards international talent demonstrates China’s commitment to collaboration and global integration, fostering a conducive environment for expertise from around the world to contribute to China’s growth.
