Chorsu Market in Tashkent Ravaged by Major Fire (Video)
12 fire and rescue teams were involved in extinguishing a fire that broke out at the Chorsu market on Beruniy Street in the Shaykhantakhur district on June 28. The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report about the fire at approximately 01:12, and the teams arrived at the scene within 5 minutes.
The fire, which started at the trade counters, was successfully localized by 02:22 and completely extinguished by 02:47. Despite the severity of the fire, there were no reported casualties or deaths as a result of the incident.
The quick response and coordinated efforts of the 12 fire and rescue teams played a crucial role in putting out the fire and preventing further damage. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has not provided any information regarding the cause of the fire at this time.
