CHP Announces 126 Additional Mayoral Candidates – Latest Turkey News
The Republican People’s Party (CHP) has announced 126 more candidates for the upcoming local elections, as the candidate selection process continues. The Party Assembly has also decided to hold primary elections in 35 electoral districts.
Some of the announced candidates include Cevat Öncü for Samsun, Ferdi Zeyrek for Manisa, Rıza Yalçınkaya for Bartin, Muharrem Male for Canakkale, İsmail Sonkaya for Konya, Eyüp Kahveci for Kutahya, and Selehattin Ekicioglu for Kırsehir.
In addition to these candidates, the party has also announced the presidential candidates for 126 municipalities.
