Muharrem İnce Criticizes CHP, Accuses Them of Not Wanting to Win Elections
Homeland Party Chairman Muharrem İnce has taken aim at the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), accusing them of not wanting to win elections and criticizing their handling of candidate nominations in the upcoming local elections.
In a recent statement, İnce expressed his frustration with the CHP, stating, “These friends do not want to win elections, their problem is the congress. This opposition must change first, the fate of the country will not change unless the opposition changes.” This was in response to the decision not to cooperate with the CHP in the local elections.
İnce also called out the CHP for their candidate nominations, particularly in the city of Istanbul. He criticized the CHP for allowing a candidate elected from their party to become a candidate for the Felicity Party, only to then decry the waste of 5 years in Istanbul. İnce questioned the integrity and principles of such political relationships, stating, “There is no honor, no principles.”
The Homeland Party Chairman also addressed the issue of candidate nominations within his own party, announcing the party’s 24 mayoral candidates, including those for Istanbul’s Esenyurt and Büyükçekmece districts.
