City Hall in Batken reclaims over 20 illegally purchased land plots

Land plots that were illegally taken into private ownership have been returned to the state in Batken, according to a report from the State Committee for National Security.

Officials from the Batken City Hall were found to have unlawfully issued land plots totaling 1.44 hectares for individual housing construction. The employees of the Batken branch of the Cadastre state institution then registered and issued state certificates of private ownership for these plots.

Following the discovery of these violations, the landowners voluntarily returned 24 plots worth over 20 million soms to the Batken City Hall. This action helps to rectify the situation and ensure that the land is returned to its rightful place within the public domain.

This case serves as a reminder of the importance of transparency and adherence to legal processes in the management and allocation of land resources. The State Committee for National Security continues to monitor and investigate such cases to safeguard public interest and prevent fraudulent activities.
