City Hall in Bishkek Reveals Plan to Repair Streets in Downtown Area

Bishkek to Repair 28 Streets and 7 Sidewalks in City Center

On January 28, 2025, the deputy head of Pervomaisky district in Bishkek, Medet Kubatbekov, announced plans to repair at least 28 streets and 7 sidewalks in the city center. This decision was made during a meeting of the standing commission of the capital’s City Council on local government and work with public organizations.

In addition to the streets and sidewalks, bridges on Leninskaya Street and in the Muras-Ordo housing estate will also be repaired as part of the project.

Kubatbekov stated that the total length of the roads to be repaired is 16,446 meters, covering an area of 125,000 square meters.
