CMB refutes allegations of halting companies’ bond issuances

The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has denied claims circulating on social media that companies’ bond issuances have been stopped. In a statement released by the CMB, they clarified that there is no truth to these rumors.

The statement from the CMB addressed the issue, stating that they have not stopped the bond issuance of companies. They emphasized that they have been working to accommodate the needs and demands of companies, and have even approved issuance documents for 7 companies in the last two weeks. These documents have a total debt ceiling of 200 million euros, 515 million US dollars, and 5.7 billion TL.

This clarification comes after posts on social media suggested that the CMB had put a halt to companies’ bond issuances. The CMB wanted to set the record straight and assure the public that these claims are unfounded.

In a related development, the Directorate of Meteorology and Meteorological (DMM) has also rejected claims that the dollar will reach 40 TL in the next 15 days, adding to the wave of misinformation that has been spreading online. It is important for the public to stay informed and rely on official sources for accurate information.
