An incident involving two college students in Osh city, Kyrgyzstan, resulted in one student being hospitalized with injuries. According to the police department in the southern capital of the country, two students initially wrestled before a verbal altercation turned violent.
The injured student, a 17-year-old boy, is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. Two of his friends who came to visit him were also involved in a separate altercation with the victim’s father. The father accused them of failing to intervene and prevent the fight from escalating.
The police have launched investigations into both incidents of hooliganism and have scheduled a forensic medical examination. The identity of the students involved in the altercation has not been revealed.
