CTP Deputy Teberrüken Uluçay focused on the impact of global trade wars on underdeveloped countries and economies, highlighting the challenges faced by the TRNC due to economic uncertainties. He noted a decline in purchasing power and emphasized the need to strengthen economic relations with Southern Cyprus while reducing costs and enhancing cooperation.

Uluçay also addressed the issue of headscarf controversies, urging careful consideration of the sensitivities of the Turkish Cypriot people. He called for adherence to laws and regulations, emphasizing the importance of compliance and the need for a compromise.

Following the conclusion of the speeches, today’s session ended, setting the stage for further discussions and debates in the upcoming sessions of the General Assembly.
