CBRT Releases Sector-Specific Inflation Outlooks

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has recently released the “Sectoral Inflation Expectations” report for April 2025. The report reveals some interesting insights into the expectations of various sectors regarding inflation in the coming months.

According to the report, market participants are expecting an increase in annual inflation by 1.0 points to 25.6 percent after 12 months. Similarly, the real sector anticipates a 0.6 point increase to 41.7 percent. Interestingly, household expectations for inflation have remained unchanged at 59.3 percent.

Looking ahead to the next 12 months, there seems to be a shift in household expectations. The report shows a decrease of 4.1 points in the percentage of households expecting inflation, bringing it down to 27.2 percent.
