Bakırhan Calls for Strong Political Will to Revive Constructive Spirit for New Constitution
In a recent statement, Bakırhan emphasized the importance of having a solid legal ground and strong political will in the critical process of drafting a new Constitution. Stressing the need for collaboration with political parties, Bakırhan called for a revival of the constructive and common spirit of April 23.
“We will continue our contacts with political parties, not just with the Minister of Justice or the political parties in the Assembly. Let us establish an equal and fair democratic constitution within the framework of democratic nation agreement and shape the future of this country together,” Bakırhan said.
Meanwhile, it has been announced that the visit to Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunç by Dem Party, İmralı Delegation member and Deputy Chairman of the Assembly Sırrı Süreyya Önder has been postponed due to Tunç’s health status. The visit is now scheduled to take place tomorrow, with Dem Party Group Vice President Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, Sezai Temelli, and Co-Chairman Öztürk Türkdoğan set to attend the meeting.
