Construction of Cableway Commences in Ala-Archa Nature Park
Construction of a new cableway has officially begun in Ala-Archa Nature Park in Kyrgyzstan, marking a significant development for the region’s tourism industry and infrastructure. Kanybek Tumanbaev, the head of the Presidential Affairs Department, initiated the project and highlighted its importance for the growth of ecotourism in the country.
The cableway project is part of a larger strategy to enhance Kyrgyzstan’s appeal to tourists and provide them with safe and comfortable facilities. In line with this vision, restrictions on car entry to the park have been imposed, with a new parking lot being constructed to accommodate up to 2,000 vehicles. Additionally, electric vehicles will be utilized for guest transportation within the park.
Funded by investors, the construction of the cableway will be carried out in two stages. The first phase involves the building of a 1-kilometer route, granting visitors access to some of the most scenic locations in Ala-Archa Park. Plans for the second stage of the project will be announced at a later date.
This endeavor reflects Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to sustainable tourism development and the preservation of its natural beauty. As the cableway takes shape, it is anticipated to attract more visitors to the region and contribute to the overall growth of ecotourism in the country.
