Construction of Road in Zardaly Village at Cost of 389 Million Soms
A new road will be constructed in Zardaly village, located in the Batken region of Kyrgyz Republic. The project will cost 389.2 million soms, as reported by the state procurement portal.
The Road Management Department under the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced the tender for the construction of the 4.2-kilometer road, starting from Kyzyl-Tash village.
President Sadyr Japarov visited Zardaly village and assured the residents that construction of the road will begin in the spring of 2025. This will be followed by efforts to provide the village with electricity.
Zardaly, which obtained village status in 2016, is currently only accessible via a rocky road that becomes impassable in winter. This isolation leaves residents cut off from the outside world until the road becomes usable again in May.
The new road construction project promises to improve the connectivity and living conditions for the residents of Zardaly village, providing them with year-round access to essential services and resources.
