Construction Site Landslide in Istanbul Forces Evacuation of 2 Buildings
A landslide occurred in the Karadeniz Mahallesi 1149th Street during the evening hours while excavation was being carried out on the foundation of a construction site. As a result, two buildings adjacent to the construction were evacuated for safety reasons.
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Police Department teams took security measures in the surrounding area, and entrances and exits to the street were closed to prevent any further incidents.
