Countdown to First Space Travel
Turkey’s first astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, is set to make history with his journey to the International Space Station. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced this groundbreaking news, expressing his excitement and pride in this monumental achievement for Turkey.
“We are happy, excited, proud. Our first Turkish astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, will embark on a journey to the International Space Station by launching from Florida,” Kacır announced.
