In a recent development, five cars previously owned by a notorious crime boss, Kamchi Kolbaev, have been sold at an auction. The State Property Management Agency has confirmed this information.
The results of the electronic auction revealed the following vehicles and their selling prices:
– HYUNDAI GENESIS, 2019, sold for 3,017.4 million soms
– TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRADO, 2005, sold for 1,498 million soms
– KIA RIO X-LINE, 2019, sold for 1,241.2 million soms
– BMW X6, 2021, sold for 7,661.2 million soms
– TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 100, 2002, sold for 1,187.7 million soms
– GAZ-21, 1965, sold for 481,500 soms
The first five cars were once under the ownership of Kamchi Kolbaev, but it remains unknown who the former owner of the GAZ-21 was. There is only information available that suggests the car was voluntarily transferred to the state.
This recent auction marks a significant step in the confiscation and sale of assets previously belonging to criminal figures, demonstrating the government’s commitment to combating organized crime and corruption.
