Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania to Cooperate in Education
In a recent development, Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania have agreed to collaborate in the field of education. The Ministry of Education and Science’s press service announced this partnership.
Deputy Minister Lira Samykbaeva met with Egidijus Navikas, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kyrgyz Republic, to discuss bilateral cooperation in education. The discussions included participation in European Union programs, the implementation of Twinning projects, and the promotion of inclusive education.
A key point of the conversation was the potential for Lithuanian teachers to work in educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. This exchange of expertise aims to enhance the learning experience and improve the overall educational process in the country.
Both parties expressed their commitment to expanding their partnership and developing initiatives to enhance the quality of education in Kyrgyzstan. It is important to note that Russian schoolteachers have also been working in Kyrgyzstan in recent years.
