Curfew lifted in Mardin – Latest news from Turkey

In a statement released, it was noted that operations are being carried out to neutralize members of the terrorist organization, destroy shelters and storage areas used by these individuals, and seize materials.
As part of these efforts, a curfew was implemented in the rural Yeşilalan and Pınardere neighborhoods and their hamlets. The curfew, which went into effect at 00.01, was put in place in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Provincial Administration Law. The aim of the curfew is to protect the lives and property of residents in these areas.
However, the statement also announced that the curfew in the mentioned neighborhoods and hamlets has been lifted as of 14.30. This shows progress in the operations conducted to maintain security and stability in the region.
