Cypriot Cuisine: From Tradition to the Future Book Signing Event at BRTK
The first series of the Presidency Culture Publications, titled “Cyprus Cuisine from Tradition to the Future”, has been launched at Rüstem Bookstore. The authors of the book, Mustafa Şah, Prof. Dr. Tülen Saner, and Erhun Ekinci, participated in a signing day event to celebrate the release.
During the event, Mustafa Şah expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the preparation of the book, including the contributions made by Sibel Tatar, the wife of President Ersin Tatar. He emphasized the importance of preserving the rich culture of Cyprus and highlighted the significance of the book as an archive of gastronomy for tourism.
Prof. Dr. Tülen Saner and Erhun Ekinci were praised for incorporating their knowledge and experience into the book, showcasing their professionalism in the field. Sibel Tatar, also present at the event, mentioned that the second cultural publication of the Presidency will focus on Cyprus Doors and Chests, currently being printed in Ankara.
Furthermore, Sibel Tatar revealed that the third book in the series will explore Turkish Cypriot Folk Music, highlighting the diverse cultural aspects of Cyprus. The Presidency Culture Publications aim to document and celebrate the cultural heritage of Cyprus, providing valuable insights into the traditions and practices of the region.
