“Cyprus Ambassador Presents Credentials to Host Country”
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Kypros Giorgallis, has presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, B.Myatiev, on May 22, 2023. The meeting was held in Turkmenistan’s capital, Ashgabat, where the Ambassador will be stationed.
During the meeting, B.Myatiev congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed Turkmenistan’s readiness to support his activities. The parties discussed the importance of maintaining a high-level political dialogue and the role of the mechanism of consultations at the foreign minister level.
Furthermore, the Deputy Minister highlighted the role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in developing political dialogue and deepening relationships in various fields, such as trade, economics, and education. The diplomats also recognized the positive collaboration between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Cyprus within international and regional organizations, particularly in the United Nations.
