Motorcycle-Related Crime Syndicate Members Brought to Turkey
A notorious criminal organization known for their motorcycle armed attacks, extortion, and violence events has been brought to justice in Turkey. Sinan Memi, the leader of this organized criminal group, was wanted for a multitude of crimes including establishing, designing, drug trafficking, and promoting terrorist organizations. After three years of evading authorities and facing 20 arrest warrants, Sinan Memi has finally been brought to Turkey from Poland.
In another significant development, Atakan Avcı, a poison merchant sentenced to 30 years in prison for drug trafficking, has also been extradited to Turkey from Bulgaria. These operations were proudly announced by the Minister of Interior, Ali Yerlikaya.
Minister Yerlikaya took to his social media account to reassure the public that no criminal will be able to escape the Turkish police’s reach. In his statement, he declared, “You can not escape the Turkish police. I want our nation to know that no matter how big or where they hide, the members of criminal organizations, including poison traders, will be apprehended and brought back to face justice in our country. They will not be able to escape from us.”
