Deadline Approaching: Last Day for YÖK Scholarship Applications
The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) has recently announced an increase in the amount of scholarships offered to students in Turkey. The “100/2000 YÖK Doctoral Scholarship” has been raised from 7,500 lira to 12,000 lira for students who are not employed, and from 2,500 lira to 4,000 lira for those who are employed.
Moreover, the “YÖK Undergraduate Support Scholarship” given to students who are placed in the top three positions and enroll in undergraduate programs at state universities chosen by YÖK has been increased from 1,875 lira to 3,000 lira. Additionally, the scholarship for undergraduate students studying in Basic Sciences Superior Achievement Classes (TEBİP-Undergraduate) has also been raised from 2,000 lira to 3,000 lira.
These increases in scholarship amounts aim to support and motivate students to pursue their academic goals and excel in their studies. Students eligible for these scholarships are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this financial assistance provided by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
