The most comprehensive Career Fair of the Mediterranean Region, organized by the Presidential Human Resources Office and hosted by Akdeniz University, has officially opened its doors. The fair aims to connect students with over 200 companies offering both job opportunities and internships, all under the theme of ‘Talent everywhere’. The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures such as Assoc. Dr. Salim Atay, Rector of Akdeniz University Dr. Missed Ozkan, Antalya Deputy Governor Tahsin Aksu, Provincial Police Director Ilker Arslan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Tarik Hekimoglu, as well as district mayors and other guests.
During his speech at the opening ceremony, Rector Dr. Ozkan emphasized the importance of the fair in providing students with the opportunity to not only explore job opportunities but also discover themselves, gain new perspectives, and be inspired. He highlighted the rapidly changing nature of the business world, where individuals need to think, produce, and continuously develop themselves to succeed.
Dr. Ozkan also stressed the importance of ethical values in today’s evolving landscape, urging students to blend technology and science with conscience. He encouraged them to express their ideas boldly, never stop learning, and always rely on ethical values in their pursuits.
