Dem Party Co-Chairman Tuncer Bakirhan Extends Well Wishes to MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli
In a recent phone call, Dem Party Co-Chairman Tuncer Bakirhan reached out to MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli to convey his well wishes. Bakirhan expressed his hopes for Bahceli’s speedy recovery and emphasized the importance of his role in promoting peace and brotherhood in Turkey.
Bahceli, who recently underwent a successful heart operation, is currently recuperating and is expected to resume his normal activities shortly. The operation, which involved replacing a heart valve that had shown signs of degeneration, was deemed a success by medical professionals.
It is worth noting that the ongoing Imrali process, which aims to address issues related to terrorism in the country, was initiated following Bahceli’s call for action. The process began with Bahceli’s proposal to remove the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, in order to facilitate peace talks.
In response to Bahceli’s call, the Dem Party delegation has made efforts to engage with various key figures, including Nechirvan Barzani and Mesut Barzani, in the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government.
