Detained Individuals Selling Pure Gold Bullion
Gold Bullion Sellers Caught in Davlatabad District, Criminal Case Initiated
In a recent development, individuals involved in the illegal selling of pure gold bullion have been apprehended in the Davlatabad district. As a result of this situation, a criminal case has been initiated, focusing on the illegal receipt or transfer of currency values.
This successful operation was carried out collaboratively by the PGO Department and the SSS Departments of the Namangan region. During the operation, two suspects identified as B.S. and N.K., residents of the Davlatabad district, were caught red-handed with substantial evidence. They were found in possession of three pieces of gold-like yellow metal, which they were attempting to sell for $20,000 to an individual named E.A.
Upon examination by experts, it was determined that the three pieces of yellow metal weighed a total of 298.43 grams and were of “992” proof pure gold. The total value of these pieces was estimated to be approximately 222.8 million soums.
As a result of this situation, a criminal case has been officially launched under Article 177 of the Criminal Code, which deals with the illegal acquisition or transfer of currency values. The investigation is currently underway to uncover further details and bring the responsible individuals to justice.
