Five dead after Ak-Buura River bursts its banks in Osh, Kyrgyzstan
Tragedy struck in Osh, Kyrgyzstan’s second largest city, on July 14 when the Ak-Buura River overflowed, claiming the lives of at least five people. The force of the current was so powerful that some victims’ bodies were carried across the border into neighboring Uzbekistan.
