MHP Chairman Bahceli Warns Against Threats to Turkey’s National Unity
In a recent written statement shared on social media, the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahceli, highlighted the importance of protecting Turkey’s common mind and perseverance for common life. Bahceli expressed concerns over the threats posed to social order, political stability, and the new government system by a mixture of lies, slander, and betrayal.
Bahceli raised alarm over calls for uprising and rebellion sent through subliminal messages, aimed at destabilizing the country’s peace, political order, and security structure. He criticized opposition groups for disregarding democracy and inciting unrest among the youth.
The MHP Chairman urged parents to protect their children from being manipulated by political agendas and to prioritize their education and future. Bahceli emphasized the need to safeguard the unity and integrity of the Turkish nation by preventing any attempts to exploit the youth for political gains.
Bahceli also called out those spreading misinformation on social media and attempting to undermine the trust in democratic institutions. He dismissed the idea of appointing a trustee to the CHP, stating that such a move would be neither right nor feasible, given the current state of the opposition party.
In a separate note, Bahceli extended his wishes for a speedy recovery to Sırrı Süreyya Önder, a Deputy Chairman of the Parliament and Dem Party Istanbul Deputy, who is currently undergoing medical treatment. Despite the challenges faced, Bahceli expressed confidence in achieving a terrorism-free Turkey.
