According to the National Statistical Committee, the price of diesel fuel in Kyrgyzstan has seen an increase of 1.16 soms since the beginning of October.
On September 30, diesel fuel was priced at an average of 68.47 soms in the country. However, by October 30, the price had risen to 69.63 soms. Despite the increase, the current price is 6.02 soms lower compared to the same period last year.
Another fuel type that experienced a price hike over the past month is AI 95 gasoline. Its price increased from 71.19 soms to 71.35 soms. This represents a significant increase of 5.31 soms compared to last year.
In contrast, AI 92 gasoline saw a slight decrease in price from 64.48 soms to 64.18 soms. Nevertheless, its current price remains 3.41 soms higher than it was at the end of October last year.
These fluctuations in fuel prices have a direct impact on the transportation sector and the overall economy. Consumers and businesses are likely to feel the effects of the price changes at the pump.
