Digital Character System Charter Changes Approved, Circular to be Published Soon
Economy and Energy Minister Olgun Uncle has made an important announcement regarding the monitoring of products in the market. A circular will be published outlining the rules that markets must adhere to for daily monitoring of products and the implementation of a Digital Quality System for audit, control, and reporting.
The Ministry of Economy and Energy stated that the Council of Ministers has approved the digital character system for the monitoring of products in the market. This system will require markets to follow specific rules for monitoring products on a daily basis.
Infrastructure work for the system, including the setup of data centers, installation of equipment and software, and establishment of the Barcode Center System, will be completed by May 2nd. Minister Uncle also mentioned that the system will be fully operational by the end of May.
From May 3rd to May 31st, products will be entered into the system, markets will be integrated, user permissions will be defined, and data transfer processes will begin. The system will be opened to markets and training will be provided by the Ministry during this time.
It is anticipated that the system will be fully operational in markets by June 2nd. Minister Uncle stated that all necessary work will be completed between June 3rd and 30th to ensure the successful implementation of the Digital Quality System.
