Discussion of Export-Import Procedures at Ahal Regional Customs
Customs legislation and foreign economic activities were the focus of the first interdepartmental meeting on export-import procedures held this year. The meeting, which took place at the Ahal Velayat customs, included representatives from various organizations such as the State Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry, and the Main State Service “Turkmenstandardlary”.
Participants in the meeting, which also included representatives from transport and logistics companies and entrepreneurs, discussed the registration process for exports and imports, as well as the benefits available to private entrepreneurs. The meeting also covered the potential transition to a digital system for foreign economic activities as part of the “Single Window for export-import operations” project.
This gathering provided an opportunity for stakeholders to exchange ideas and information on streamlining export-import procedures and improving the overall efficiency of foreign trade in Turkmenistan. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, the meeting set the stage for future advancements in the field of customs legislation and foreign economic activities.
