Discussion on MasterCard Card Payments in Ashgabat
A seminar on financial transactions using Mastercard cards was recently held at the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event took place from June 5 to 6 and provided participants with valuable information on various aspects of the clearing settlement system.
During the seminar, attendees learned about the concept of clearing, which involves non-cash payments for goods and services between legal entities and individuals. In clearing, claims and obligations are offset instead of using cash payments, creating a more efficient and streamlined payment process.
Experts also discussed the billing system, an automated system for recording services provided, pricing them, and issuing invoices for payment. This system plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payments for services rendered.
Furthermore, participants were given insight into the role of Mastercard in the settlement process and how it differs from other payment systems. Mastercard is a widely recognized and trusted payment platform that facilitates transactions globally.
To reinforce their theoretical knowledge, attendees took part in practical exercises on making calculations and converting currencies. This hands-on experience helped solidify their understanding of the concepts discussed during the seminar.
Overall, the seminar was a valuable opportunity for participants to enhance their knowledge of financial transactions using Mastercard cards and gain practical skills in handling non-cash payments. The event was a success in providing participants with the tools and information needed to navigate the complex world of financial transactions effectively.
