Turkmenistan and China Strengthen Bilateral Partnership
On September 18, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, Qian Naicheng. The meeting focused on discussing key aspects of the bilateral partnership between the two countries in various fields such as politics, trade, economics, culture, and humanitarian efforts.
During the meeting, both parties highlighted the importance and effectiveness of their cooperation within the framework of the Central Asia – China format. This format has been instrumental in enhancing relations and promoting mutual benefits for both Turkmenistan and China.
