Disney shaken as Universal’s “Super Mario Brothers Movie” breaks box office records

Despite the challenges, Disney remains a formidable player in the entertainment industry, having produced some of the most iconic, critically acclaimed, and commercially successful animated films in history. However, the unprecedented success of the “Super Mario Brothers Movie” has proven that Universal and Illumination are now serious contenders for Disney’s dominance.
