Tragedy Strikes as Lawyer Dies in Swimming Pool Incident
A 54-year-old lawyer from the Yakkasaray district administration of Tashkent met a tragic end on April 18th at around 3:30 pm when he passed away in a swimming pool located in the same area. The news was confirmed by the PGO press secretary, Khayot Shamsutdinov, in a statement to Gazeta.uz.
The unfortunate incident occurred when the man fell ill while swimming. A forensic medical examination has been initiated to determine the exact cause of death.
According to a source from Gazeta.uz, who has a child training in the pool, it was revealed that on the day of the incident, classes at the sports complex were canceled due to an event held by the administration.
Reports from Kun.uz suggest that a holiday celebration for the administration employees took place on April 18th. Following the event, two deputy governors of the district and the lawyer in question were said to be spending time near the pool.
The prosecutor’s office has launched a pre-investigation check into the circumstances surrounding the lawyer’s death.
