Doğukan aims to win first place in Alanya swimming competition
Turkish Swimmer Doğukan Ulaç to Compete in Open Water Championships
Doğukan Ulaç, a prominent Turkish swimmer, is set to represent his club, Avrupa Swimming Specialization, in the Turkish Open Water Swimming Championships and National Team Selections. Ulaç, who has been training at the Olympic Preparation Center in Kayseri, is expected to participate in the 10 Kilometer race to be held in Alanya from 14th to 16th July.
If Ulaç secures first place in the 10 Kilometer race, he will earn the opportunity to compete in the 25 kilometer marathon in Macedonia/Ohrid, making history for Turkey. The marathon in Macedonia is scheduled to take place on 27th August. Ulaç expressed his excitement and aspirations to represent Turkey in an interview with BRTSPOR ahead of the race.
The 10 kilometer race, in which Ulaç will swim, is slated for 16th July. Ulaç, who has achieved an impressive time of 1.54 in 10 kilometers during his training in Kayseri, emphasized the positive progress of his preparations.
Furthermore, Ulaç, who won the Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Marathon in 2018 and 2022, is also eying the upcoming race on 20th August this year.
