Double Trouble: 10 Trucks Full of Garbage Removed from House
Authorities in Antalya’s Manavgat district were faced with a shocking scene recently when they had to remove 10 trucks worth of garbage from a residence that had been previously warned to clean up twice.
The house, located on 1054 Street in Aşağı Pazarcı District, was being used as a residence by a person named Ahmet Y. The Manavgat Municipality Police Department discovered that the 100-square-meter shop on the ground floor had been turned into a hoarding site for garbage, ranging from alcohol bottles to tube televisions.
Despite being given two warnings to clean up the mess, Ahmet Y. failed to comply with the orders. As a result, it was decided that the municipality teams would step in to remove the garbage under police supervision.
Early in the morning, municipal teams arrived at the residence and began the process of loading the garbage onto trucks with the help of work machines. The waste was then transported to the Manavgat garbage dump for disposal.
Ahmet Y. tried to intervene during the cleanup process by claiming that there were important items mixed in with the garbage. However, authorities made sure to supervise him closely to prevent any interference.
The spectacle of 10 trucks worth of garbage being removed from the residence drew the attention of neighbors and passersby, who watched with curiosity as the cleanup unfolded. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of proper waste disposal practices and the consequences of neglecting to maintain a clean living environment.
