“Dracula Returns in ‘The Last Voyage Of The Demeter’ Trailer”
Universal Pictures is gearing up for another Dracula movie, titled “The Last Voyage of the Demeter.” It takes inspiration from Bram Stoker’s novel “Dracula” and tells the story of the Russian merchant ship called “Demeter” that carried the vampire to England. The first trailer of the movie promises an intriguing and chilling film, directed by Norwegian director Andre Ovredal, who brought us “Trollhunter” and “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.” The film’s script is written by Zak Olkewicz (Fear Street), and producers of “Zodiac” and “Black Swan” are backing the project. The movie features a talented ensemble cast, including Corey Hawkins, David Dastmalchian, Liam Cunningham, Aisling Franciosi, Jon Jon Briones, Stefan Kapicic, Nikolai Nikolaeff, Woody Norman, Martin Furulund, Chris Walley, and Javier Botet playing the titular Count Dracula. “The Last Voyage of the Demeter” is set to release on August 11 in theaters.
