Drug Bust: Shocking Confession
Woman Wanted for Drugs Detained by Police in Aksaray
In a late-night incident on Büyük Bölcek Street in Büyük Bölcek District, police officers patrolling at night stopped a car with plate number 37 EZ 432 after becoming suspicious. Upon conducting an identity and General Information Scan (GBT) on the driver and a woman named HT (33) who was in the car, it was discovered that the woman was wanted for drugs.
The woman was immediately detained at the scene and taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Service for a medical examination. However, upon arrival at the hospital, the woman scolded a police officer for standing in a puddle of water caused by rain, stating, “You came and stood in the water like this.”
Despite this incident, the woman made light of the situation by joking with the police officers, expressing her regret for not being caught with a larger quantity of drugs. Following a health check, the woman was taken to Aksaray Police Station for legal proceedings, while an investigation was launched by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into the incident.
This unexpected turn of events shed light on the diligent work of the Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch teams in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
