The earthquake was felt with a magnitude of 4 at the epicenter, with magnitudes of 3-4 in Yardimli and other districts. This was the second earthquake to hit Lerik district on the same day, following a 4 magnitude earthquake earlier in the day, 11 kilometers north-east of the Yardimli station.
The earthquake had a depth of 15 km and was recorded at 07:49 local time (GMT+4). The authorities are monitoring the situation and providing assistance to those affected by the earthquakes.
