Egyptian Company Plans Expansion into Uzbekistan’s Household Electrical Appliance Market

Specialists from the Uzeltekhsanoat association recently held an online meeting with the management of the large Egyptian company ElAraby, a manufacturer of household electrical appliances. The event was attended by key personnel from both sides, including Marwan Elcott, the marketing manager, and Khasan Askar, the sales manager, from ElAraby, as well as Bakhodir Gulyamov, the general manager of the foreign investment department of Uzeltekhsanoat association, Javokhir Mukhammadjonov, the investment manager of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, and representatives from the Uzbek embassy in Egypt.

During the meeting, the status of the $10 million project for the production of household electrical appliances by ElAraby in Uzbekistan was discussed, along with its future prospects. The Egyptian company expressed interest in collaborating with similar enterprises and firms in Uzbekistan within the electrical products industry. They emphasized that the project holds great promise for them and they are eager to see it through to completion.

Furthermore, it was announced that representatives from ElAraby will participate in the III Tashkent International Investment Forum scheduled to take place on May 2-3. This forum will provide a platform for further discussions and potential collaborations between the two parties.
