On Saturday, five individuals were detained at multiple locations throughout England as part of a "pre-planned" investigation. The Metropolitan Police have indicated that these arrests were connected to a suspected plot to "target a specific premises." Among those detained, four are Iranian nationals, aged 29, 29, 40, and 46, while the nationality and age of the fifth suspect remain to be confirmed.
In parallel, three additional Iranian men were apprehended in London during a different investigation spearheaded by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command. Authorities clarified that these two operations are unrelated.
