Eight Injured in Collision Between Moving Vehicle and Parked Car: Latest News from Turkey
A serious accident on the D-100 highway leaves multiple injured individuals in need of medical attention. The collision took place when a car, identified by license plate 81 KH 742 and driven by Necmi A., rear-ended another vehicle driven by Süleyman Ç. at the Danişment location while travelling from Merzifon towards Osmancık. Both vehicles flipped over upon impact, causing significant damage and injury to the occupants.
Emergency services, including the police, gendarmerie, and medical teams, quickly responded to the scene after receiving reports from passing drivers. In total, driver Süleyman Ç. and passengers Ayşe Ç., Ensar Ç., Yasir Ç., Hatice A., Koray A., Ali A., and Sudenaz A. sustained injuries in the accident. After receiving initial first aid treatment at the site, the injured individuals were transported to Osmancık State Hospital by ambulance for further medical care.
