Eldar Alisherov Named Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics for EEC

Kyrgyzstani Eldar Alisherov Appointed as Minister in Charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission

Bishkek – 14:15, 13 September 2024 – Kyrgyzstani Eldar Alisherov has been appointed as the Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), according to the EEC website.

The decision was made on the sidelines of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Eldar Alisherov brings extensive leadership experience from his previous roles in the government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic. Since 2022, he has been serving as the head of the Department for the Eurasian Economic Union Affairs of the presidential administration of the Kyrgyz Republic. Additionally, for the past year and a half, he has held the position of Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Eldar Alisherov holds a degree in world economy from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and a master’s degree in state and municipal administration from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2023, he was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Eldar Alisherov is now the seventh Kyrgyzstani working for the EEC. Other Kyrgyz citizens in various structures of the Eurasian Economic Commission include First Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, Arzybek Kozhoshev, Altynai Omurbekova, Daniyar Imanaliev, Samat Kulmambetov, and Azamat Orosbaev.

This appointment highlights Kyrgyzstan’s presence and contribution to the Eurasian Economic Commission, further strengthening cooperation and representation within the region.
