Elderly Man Missing for 10 Days Found Deceased – Last Minute Turkey News

Yaşar Dursun, a 77-year-old man from Tayyip village in Safranbolu district, recently went missing after leaving home to buy a donkey from a village in Bartın’s Ulus district. Dursun’s relatives became concerned when he did not return home, prompting them to report him missing to the gendarmerie. A search and rescue operation was initiated to locate Dursun.

Teams comprised of Karabük and Bartın gendarmerie, AFAD and its volunteers, IHH, and the Nilüfer Search and Rescue Association joined forces to conduct search and scanning activities in the area surrounding the village. It was discovered that Dursun was last seen near Kayabaşı village in Ulus. During the search efforts, the donkey that Dursun was believed to have purchased was found dead near the same village.
