Bishkek – The vehicle fleet of ElTR, the state-run television and radio broadcasting company, has received a significant upgrade with the addition of new automobiles, as reported by the TV channel.
In a recent event, eight domestically produced Chevrolet Tracker vehicles were officially handed over to ElTR. The ceremony was attended by Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, alongside ElTR’s management and staff.
The upgrade of the vehicle fleet is expected to improve the mobility of ElTR employees, thereby enhancing their ability to perform service tasks efficiently. An official statement highlighted that these enhancements are critical for improving the overall quality of the channel’s broadcasting services.
Additionally, on April 21, the Parliament reviewed a government decree that allocated 15.423 million soms for the purchase of these vehicles, further underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting the media infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan.
This investment not only represents a step forward for ElTR, but it also reflects a broader initiative to bolster state media capabilities across the nation.
