On Wednesday, a Sunexpress flight from Antalya to Düsseldorf was forced to make an emergency landing at Budapest Airport as a passenger fell fatally ill, according to information provided by Budapest Airport to MTI.
Despite the efforts of the Airport Medical Service unit to resuscitate the 75-year-old man, they were unfortunately unsuccessful. Budapest Airport expressed its condolences to the man’s relatives.
The flight is expected to depart soon to its original destination, BA confirmed.
