Turkish President and First Lady Support African Women Entrepreneurs
During Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan’s visit to over 20 African countries, they had the opportunity to interact with local women engaged in production. The head of the African Culture House, Zeliha Saglam, shared that these women expressed their challenges in promoting their products despite making a variety of items.
In a conversation with Baku TV at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Saglam mentioned that the first lady of Turkey purchased several items from these local women entrepreneurs during their visit. To support these talented women, the products are now being showcased and sold in Antalya.
