Enhancing Agricultural Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland
A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture recently made a fruitful visit to Poland to explore potential areas of collaboration in the agricultural sector. The delegation had the opportunity to tour the offices of Green Crops, a well-known vegetable production holding in Poland, where they were able to gain valuable insights into the company’s operations.
During their visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with Adam Różyczki, the Managing Director of Green Crops, with a focus on the feasibility of implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector. They also explored avenues for exporting fresh fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Poland, emphasizing the mutual benefits of such trade relationships.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the agreement to organize internships for students from agricultural universities in Uzbekistan at Polish agricultural enterprises from May to October 2025. Green Crops has generously offered to cover all expenses related to these internships, aiming to provide educational opportunities for Uzbek students in the field of agriculture.
In addition to their visit to Green Crops, the delegation also met with the leadership of the Ignacy Mościcki University of Applied Sciences in Ciechanów. Discussions focused on the potential for further collaboration between agricultural universities in Uzbekistan and Poland, highlighting the importance of knowledge exchange and joint initiatives in the agricultural sector.
Overall, the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation to Poland served as a platform for exploring opportunities for collaboration and strengthening ties between the two countries in the field of agriculture.
